At Olive Branch Counseling, we are dedicated to enhancing the well-being of children, individuals, and families through a comprehensive, trauma-informed approach.
Our services are designed to meet the unique needs of each client, using ARC (Attachment, Regulation, and Competency) and Trauma-Informed Care to foster stronger attachments, improve emotional regulation, and build resilience in daily life.
Tamara (Tami) Klapwyk, our Owner and Director, founded Olive Branch Counseling to provide non-judgmental, nurturing support in a safe, welcoming environment for people of all ages. Reflecting on the mission, Tami shares, "Growing up with foster kids and being a foster mom, I have always been passionate about creating a space where families can heal, grow, and feel supported. My experiences working with youth in the probation system have shown me the impact of compassionate care, and it’s my goal, alongside my incredible team, to bring that same level of support to everyone who walks through our doors. Together, we strive to create a community where every individual feels understood and empowered to thrive."
We work closely with local and county resources to provide the appropriate care at the right time, ultimately strengthening our communities by improving lives.
"Olive Branch gave me a connection I never had before. The team welcomed me and walked beside me, never judged me. Because of Olive Branch, I now have Medicaid and access to treatment and a trusted friend, my therapist. They showed me the true meaning of family. I drop in anytime for coffee, even when I don’t have an appointment. The team at Olive Branch has given me hope, support and what I need to become a different person. I am excited about that for me and my son!"
